This is a worthwhile project. Perhaps some day, after the past has been faced and reconciled with the present, Dachau can be remembered as the nice Bavarian town it is now; as it was for generations before the Nazi government came to power.

May I bless the souls that died for no cause other than very crazy people. Why children, handicap, etc. It all comes to greed that the NAzi's had for others homes and possesion. Have you ever been without food for long period of time? Have you ever had to hide with no food /sanitary / fresh air? may God Be With The World Today. May people learn to be happy with the things they have. Shalom

I went to Dachau a year and a half ago and its image has haunted me ever since. I have always heard about the atrocities but you dont understand the horror until you visit a camp. I am greatful for that oppertunity because it has opened my eyes to what life really is and what it means. God Bless the ex-prisoners and thier families. I will never forget.

I have heard of many ppl who have lost there lives in concentration camps. But I was never so moved then the summer of 2003 when I got to see first hand how they lived. As you walk around Dachau you feel sadden from all the pain that still lives there. I hope that my child will never have to see anything like that happen.

My grandfather was one of the American soldiers who invaded Dachau. He never talked about it while he was alive. IT was only at his funeral that I learned of it. I wish I had known so that I could have talked to him about it while he was alive. I cannot imagine... I guess he never spoke of it because it was so shocking for him
